 My favourite celebrity is Deepika Padukone. She is a very famous and talented actress in the Indian film industry. Her performances are always powerful and emotional, which makes her movies very interesting to watch. One of the main reasons I like her is her confidence and strength. My favorite food is Kottu. It is one of the most popular and delicious foods in Sri Lanka, and I really enjoy eating it.  My favorite festival is the Sinhala and Tamil New Year, which is also known as Aluth Awurudda . It is one of the most important and joyful festivals celebrated in Sri Lanka. During this time, families clean their houses, prepare traditional food, and celebrate together with happiness. One of my favorite memories with my friends happened during my A/L class time. It was a very special and unforgettable days for me. After school my friends and I decided to spend some time together and enjoy the evening. That day we all gathered after school and talked, laughed, and shared many stories. We discussed our school life, our dreams for the future, and even funny moments that happened in class. It was a simple moment, but it felt very special because we were all together. One of the proudest moments in my life was when I was appointed as the Head Prefect of my school. It was a very special and unforgettable day for me. I was appointed on the 14th of March, 2024, and that moment made me feel extremely happy and honored. Becoming the Head Prefect was not easy. I always tried to be a responsible student and help my teachers and classmates. When my teachers selected me for this position, I felt proud because it showed that they trusted my leadership and behavior. As the Head Prefect, I had many responsibilities in school. I helped maintain discipline among students and supported teachers during school activities and events. I also worked with other prefects to organize different programs and make sure everything went smoothly. This experience helped me develop my leadership skills and confidence. My favourite singer is not a single person but a famous boy band called One Direction. Even though the band is not active now their songs are still very special to me. One Direction was formed in 2010 and became very popular around the world. The group had five members: Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik. They sang many beautiful and energetic songs that people of all ages loved. I started listening to One Direction when I was young. Their songs made my childhood very beautiful and memorable. Songs like What Makes You Beautiful , Night Changes and Story of My Life always make me feel happy and nostalgic.
